DUAN STONE AND CLOISONNÉ WOOD TABLE SCREEN, China, Qing dynasty (1644-1912)

One wooden side is decorated with a chrysanthemum-shaped plate in red lacquer with a poem by the Emperor Qianlong engraved on the inside, below it is a book in wood and bone; the other side is finely carved on duan stone with a landscape. The stand is a beautiful cloisonné decorated with floral motifs.
