FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN PIERCED BASKET, China, Qianlong period (1735-1796)

Oblong in shape with flared rim and iron-red handles, the body is openwork, the centre is decorated with flowers, the outside and inside are glazed in faux bois style and decorated with medallions and panels containing gilt flowers.
