PORCELAIN QIANJIANG TEA CADDY SIGNED BY TANG ZIZHEN, China, late 19th/early 20th century

Molded in the shape of a leaf, it is painted in the Qianjiang style on the two larger sides with characters in a garden, on the smaller side it bears inscriptions including the signature of the artist Tang Zizhen (唐 子楨); in the centre of the base is a mark, probably made by the ceramist, Gan Zhenchang (甘 鎮昌 造).
