A BLUE AND WHITE VASE, China, Qing dynasty, 19th century
h. 32.5 cm
Square in shape, it is beautifully painted on the body in underglaze blue on each face with characters, inscriptions and ancient objects on a blue background decorated with white flowers. At the base of the neck it is decorated with bats flying in the clouds.
