A GILT-BRONZE BRONZE AND JADE BUCKLE, China, Qing Dynasty, 18th / 19th century

The bronze part is well modelled on the front with bats among flowers and clouds and engraved and carved on the back with floral motifs. The jade of a beautiful light celadon grey colour is well carved with archaistic motifs.
