The well-perforated vase is carved with a climbing qilong, the body finely carved in low relief with cloud volutes. The stone is an attractive grey-green shade with lighter inclusions. The wooden base of the stand bears a Christie's label from the auction Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art, London, 10 November 2015, lot no. 260.
