A RARE PORCELAIN SEATED BUDDHA MARKED BY WEI HONGTAI, China, Republic Period (1912-1949)

Seated on a cloud resting on a pedestal, with his left leg raised and his arm resting on it holding a pearl necklace, he is dressed in a large polychrome robe that leaves his chest exposed. On the base is stamped Wei Hong Tai Zhi (魏洪泰制).
