MONGOLIAN-STYLE JADE AND SILVER FLASK, China, Qing Dynasty, 19th century

h. 20 cm

Oval in shape with a flared neck, on each side is applied a white jade plaque carved with characters in gardens among rocks and plants. On the flared neck, also made of white jade, are applied two handles under which are placed two lion's head-shaped handles holding a ring in the mouth. It is decorated with corals and turquoises.
