A COPPER RED PORCELAIN STEM CUP, China, Yuan Dynasty (1279 - 1368)

The outside of the cup is inscribed in underglaze copper red with ten characters indecipherable in cursive writing between two lines, in the center of the inside has another character; is covered by a translucent enamel overall except for the inside and the base of the hollow stem foot.

Provenance: from an Italian private collection.
