A PAIR OF ENAMEL ON COPPER SAUCERS, China, Yongzheng period (1723-1735)

Beautifully painted in the center in the famille rose colors with bajixian: the shell, the parasol, the flag of victory, the wheel of the Dharma and a bird; on the edge inside a swastikas band, there are three reserves in which landscapes are depicted; on the external rim are completely decorated with the classic ice-groun pattern with flowers; in the center are marked with a bat, a double pumpkin and flowers.

Provenance: bought by an Italian private collection in London from John Sparks Limited in 1986, invoice number 4371.
