TWO RARE FAMILLE VERTE DISHES, China, Kangxi period (1661-1722)

Beautifully painted depicting a carp in the center among shells, algae and flowers, on the edge they are decorated with reserves with shrimps, crabs and fish in the waves; on the outside there are two stylized flowering branches; they are marked respectively with a shell and with the apocryphal six-character underglaze blue mark of the Chenghua Emperor, both inside a double circle.
