A MONOCHROME WHITE PORCELAIN 'LOTUS' DISH, China, Qing dynasty, 18th / 19th century

Well modeled, lobed, and carved in the shape of a lotus flower with eighteen petals, it features a lobed crown in the center, within which many small circles are engraved to simulate stigmas and seeds; it is completely covered with a translucent glaze.
