A PORCELAIN BOTTLE-SHAPED VASE, China, late 19th / early 20th century

With a hexagonal-section shape, long neck, and flared rim, it is well-painted on each face of the body with iron-red overglaze five-clawed dragons chasing the flaming pearl among clouds, totaling twenty-four dragons. The base of the neck features six bats, and the neck is decorated with lotus scrolls; the center of the base bears the six-character iron-red overglaze mark of the Emperor Xianfeng.
