A RARE 'WU SHUANG PU' CANTON PORCELAIN BOWL, China, Xianfeng (1851-1861) mark and period

Well-painted on the outside in famille rose colours and in typical Cantonese style with gourd-shaped reserves in which inscriptions and characters are alternated; on the inside there is the classic canton rose medallion decoration with court scenes; in the centre of the base it bears the six-character seal mark in overglaze red of the Emperor Xianfeng.
