Depicted with a mature appearance, sporting mustaches and a small goatee, he is seated on a throne made of lotus petals and adorned with gold earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. His head is covered with a hat topped with a feather. With his right hand, he holds a golden
vajra, while his left hand, placed in his lap, supports a skull cup containing the vase of long life nectar. Leaning against his left shoulder is a decorated katvanga staff. Below him are his two principal consorts: on the left, Mandarava in
darmachakramudra, and on the right, Yeshe Tsogyal holding a golden pitcher in her right hand in
varadamudra with her left.
