A BLUE AND WHITE GILDED PORCELAIN DISH, China, Qing dynasty, late 19th century

Decorated with a gilded powerful dragon in the centre, surrounding four phoenixes on the board, amongst clouds and the eight divinatory trigrams patterns, symbolising harmony, prosperity, and auspicious blessings. In the centre of the base is the six-character apocryphal mark 'Da Qing Kang Xi Nian Zhi".
