Consisting of six lacquered and carved panels with archaistic motifs, each panel is decorated with three reserves: the round ones at the top are enriched with carved jades and hard stones in the shape of literary objects, the lobed rectangular ones in the middle are decorated with jades and gilding depicting characters in different landscapes, and the lobed square ones at the bottom are decorated with jades and hard stones in the shape of literary objects; the back is engraved and painted with flowers and birds, antiquities and symbols of happiness shou, bats and double gourds.
