A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN VASES, China, Republic Period (1912-1949)

Each painted a continuous scene with floral and rock patterns, all reserved on a yellow ground above a band of blue key fret at the base and around the neck. The bottom of the neck presents ruyi-head borders outlined in pink and blue enamels and decorated with scrolling lotus, and dragon-shaped ears with pink enamels. On the bases they bear the Jiaqing six characters apocryphal seal mark in iron red. Together with two wood stands.
