Of circular form, the cover with a central circle panel with birds, flowers and rocks, all framed by a ground of red flowers against green foliage within an underglaze-blue double circle, the sides of the box and cover with colored floral patterns and birds, within underglaze blue reserved panels. Inside the box, it was divided into seven areas, probably served as a palette box. The box and cover with 'Da Ming Wan Li Nian Zhi' in underglaze blue six-character mark within a double circle.
